Him-eesh, naah….Him Rocks

I always had a thought of putting up something on this whiz kid called Himesh Reshammiya, but was either apprehensive of the repercussion, but then thought since nothing has been put up on the FiteKlub for a really long time(I guess a month or more), why not put up something peppery and debatable.

It has been round about 2 to 3 years since Himesh Reshammiya has been providing whole some entertainment to the audience. Some might differ, why some, infact most of the knowledgeable masses of this world might, but some where down the line they might just have a thought in their mind that this guy is in actual fact a gifted entertainer.

I without a doubt started liking Himesh’s work since “Tere Naam” and I felt that was one album which was absolutely splendid. It was one album, which one could listen from the first song of Side A (If you are using the good old cassette) and go through all the songs until side B gets over.

He was a born genius and at an early age of 14 he started producing serials on television…don’t ask me which one cos I really don’t have any idea about it. Coming back to his Music, he has an amazing sense of capturing audience’s nerve. His style of music has captured the imagination of not only the kids, teens but adults too. His genre of music is now-a-days played in almost all discos and all the so called happening places of the country. This is testimony enough to prove the point that - Himesh is in and is there to stay.

I know for sure that there are many opinions about the way he sings - the nasal effect. But does Kumar Sanu has a voice more nasal-ly than that of HR? I am sure you'd agree on that, fine… Let us forget about his voice, isn’t he providing us with some really cool foot-tapping numbers and in between some really high-quality soft numbers.

Just watched Aap Ka Suroor-The Movie. I didn’t find it a great movie, but it was certainly better than some of the other crap that is going on in bollywood. The music of the movie, which I feel is his forte was certainly good and the heroine of the movie Hansika Motwani is absolutely gorgeous and is definitely there to stay.

Hansika Motwani..the new damsel

Now people might have different opinions for either liking him or disliking him, but I for sure like him for his music.

We can’t even say that he has been purely lucky and would fade out in some time. He might fade out or might produce more hits, that only time will tell but for now he is in and is ruling….

i dont argue with the fact that he is in but so was altaf raja the "tum to there pardesi" fame so was falguni pathak but i doubt what is salable is truly talent because again each person has an opinion and is valid to hold it...just suffice to say that u like HR while i certainly dont

hey tear..i respect your views and as u said every one has their own likes/dislikes...

but for me you cannot compare altaf/falguni for producing one hit per album to HR's numerous hits...again its upto an individual to like a song or dislike it.

KD...itna sannata kyon hai bhai?

Dinesh Bhai,

Himesh the greatest music director ...hmmm...I guess is an overstatement as RDB was/is the best. But for sure HR is best in the business as of now...

Nice to know that you are a fan of him...so finally I found someone who does not hate him...I guess the hatred towards him has become contagious…”its as if that guy hates him so will I”

He isn’t that bad…

dinesh and gag its not the case that "since everybody will hate him so will I, what I feel is because of the fact that i his kind of music does not appeal to me and nor does his attitude of "Thou is the greatest" kudos to your emotions but don't regard other's opinion as run of the mill affair.

Hey tear,

every one has a right of opinion and I respect that. I never considered your opinions as "run of the mill". I have seen your comments here as well as on thinshark and I enjoy reading them along with the articles!

hello tear...
that's what is my point ...as u said that his kinda music doesnt appeal to you..that not necessarily means that his music is bad...and his attitude of being greatest...is not wrong as he beleives he is the best in what he does...

and one more thing bad never lasts...

DB,lage raho...KD ke aane tak.

hitler didn't last forever... but he remained around just enough to whip an ugly (and permanent) scar on the face of history.

(this comment is not related to himesh in any way)

So long as the tastes are sorted out and the incidence on Hitler is somewhat misplaced

dinesh,
bad never lasts? hmm not sure. I think bad lasts. it's only the bad ones that don't last the are regarded as bad. the ones that last and dont get caught pass off as good under various pretexts.
what say?

that's the bad thing about bad. that it has to be caught

not just caught, it has to be proven to society as well, which can be quite hard cause it's convenient to continue considering something as good that you've been considering good all this while. Society doesnt want to change it's opinions and prefer to avoid doing so as much as possible.
hence the number of people getting away despite lacking any talent whatsoever.

another issue is even if you prove bad is bad, people seem to forget it after a while. so likes of Lalu continue to enjoy their positions in cabinet

true...
is it because ppl prefer the bad to change?
just a thought.

i mean there's no assurance that change will bring good with it... hence stick to the known evil.

another thing which seems quite strange to me is, the same people from bihar who have forgiven and forgot lalu's sins are not so tolerant of the small time thieves. remember recent incidents when a mob (and a couple of cops) almost killed a thief and in another incident a they took out an eye from a thief.

is that because the thieves in question were not here to stay... they were leaving for good and didnt have much of a chance of returning favour.
ppl get very brave and opinionated in such circumstances... when assured of no repercussions.
i've seen such stuff happen in b'lore as well...not to that extent probably, but it does happen.
i wouldnt be surprised if the same people backed off on facing the thief one on one.
